| Kathleen McNamee, RVT |
| Kathleen started her career with Veterinary Associates as a registered veterinary technician. In 2008, she assumed the position of office manager. In addition to technician training, Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary's University, a Master's in Education from the University of Pittsburg, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Dayton, and Associates in Science from the University of Cincinnati. Kathleen is a Xenia native, and is currently living in Springboro with her five cats. |
| Elissa Wilson, RVT, C.P.D.T. |
| Elissa is a graduate of Columbus State Community College. She is a registered veterinary technician and certified pet dog trainer. She has a special interest in animal behavior counseling and teaches "Canine Kindergarten Capers," our puppy socialization classes. Elissa is a familiar face to many clients and patients, having been with Veterinary Associates since 1978. Her primary duties include working with patients in the exam rooms, and client education. |
| Brittany Ritchie, RVT |
| Brittany is a 2007 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School in Columbus, Ohio. Her favorite part of her job is working in the surgical suite, prepping animals and assisting in surgery. She also works in the lab and exam rooms, caring for patients. Brittany is married, and has a dog named Coby, who she claims is the best cockapoo in the world. |
| Jennifer Reynolds |
| Jennifer graduated from the Ohio State University in 2004 with a BS in agriculture. She has been with Veterinary Associates since 2007. Jen is a member of our front office team, communicating with clients and managing the daily schedule. She also works in the Cedarville office, assisting with client and patient care. |
| Sara Yates |
| Sara has been with Veterinary Associates since 2007. She works as a member of the front office team. Sara enjoys her job because she has always wanted to work with animals. Her favorite thing about working at Veterinary Associates is that since we treat so many types of animals, you never know what you will see or experience next. Sara shares her home with three dogs and two cats. |
| Crystal Hilliard |
| Crystal is a member of the front office team. She started working at Veterinary Associates in 2006. She enjoys interacting with all of our wonderful clients and patients. Crystal says that she is a big talker, and loves to have fun and joke around while doing her job. |
| Mendi Baker |
| Mendi started working at Veterinary Associates in 2008. She began as a kennel attendant, and is now working as a veterinary assistant. Mendi is currently taking classes through Penn Foster Career College to become a veterinary technician. |
| Richard Grimes |
| Richard has been with Veterinary Associates since 2007. He works as an exam room assistant and also takes care of our boarding pets. Richard is a chemistry major at Wright State University. He loves his job and says he will be sad to leave the practice when he graduates. Richard shares his home with three cats and two dogs. |
| Robyn Ankeney |
| Robyn has been with Veterinary Associates since 1986. She started in our Jamestown office, and then transferred to the Xenia office. She works as a surgical assistant, and enjoys caring for the patients before, during, and after surgery. Robyn also has a special gift in rescuing orphaned animals. She has raised many over the years, as well as advising and assisting other people in caring for young animals. Robyn shares her home with four dogs, three indoor cats, numerous barn cats, a dove, a donkey, five goats, and a husband who tolerates all this. |
| John H. Grice |
| John Grice has been with Veterinary Associates since 1984. John started out caring for the animals in the kennels, and is now the kennel manager. He enjoys working with both large and small animals, and is especially skilled at assisting with those less than cooperative patients. In addition to working at Veterinary Associates, John also serves as a Greene County animal control/humane officer and is a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserve. John resides near our Xenia office with his wife and children, along with several dogs, cats, and ferrets. |
| Barbara Bateson |
| Barbara works in our Jamestown clinic. Her duties include communicating with clients, scheduling appointments, and assisting the veterinarian during exams and procedures. She has previously worked in the Xenia office in the kennel and laboratory. Barbara and her husband currently share their home with two dogs and a cat. She is an instructor with a local dog club, teaching obedience classes. She also participates in Rally and Agility trials. Aside from her work with animals, Barbara enjoys creating stained glass art. |
