| Jon H. Ellis, DVM |
| Along with Dr. Martin Fuhrer, Dr. Jon Ellis is one of the founders of Veterinary Associates. He graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1966. He has been practicing in Greene County his entire career, serving the pet, food animal, and equine population. Dr. Ellis is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and currently works primarily with Standardbred race horses. |
| Brett F. Ellis, DVM |
| The son of Dr. Jon Ellis, Dr. Brett Ellis started at Veterinary Associates as a kennel assistant in 1983. After graduating from Xenia high school and Wilmington College, he attended the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He returned to Veterinary Associates after graduating in 1999. Dr. Brett enjoys practicing medicine and surgery on all domestic species. He has received advanced training in traditional Chinese veterinary medicine including acupuncture, herbology, and food therapy, which he applies in an integrative approach to all patients. |
| Jodi A. Moorman, DVM |
| Dr. Jodi Moorman is a 1990 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a mixed animal veterinarian, treating both large and small animals. She has a special interest in sheep and goat medicine, as well as rabbits. Originally from Utica, Ohio, Dr. Moorman now lives in Xenia Township with her husband, children, and many of God's other creatures. |
| Jody D. Strong, DVM |
| Dr. Strong is a 2000 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She came to Veterinary Associates shortly after graduation, and focuses on canine and feline medicine. Special areas of interest include small animal surgery, small animal medicine, and ultrasonography. |
| Lisa M. Mendenhall, DVM |
| Dr. Mendenhall is a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University (Whoop!) and has since been with Veterinary Associates. Her focus is on small animals but she has an interest in both small and large animal medicine. Originally from Eugene, OR, she currently lives in north Dayton with her husband and 3 dogs. |
| Lacey Sharp, DVM |
| Dr. Sharp is a 2009 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is interested in both large and small animal medicine. Originally from Waverly, Ohio, She now resides outside Xenia with her husband, two dogs and one cat. |
